pleasant stay in Syros island and ensure a truly restful and memorable vacation.
It is situated in “Vaporia”, the most famous region of Hermoupolis city,
the capital of Cyclades.
It is only 700 m of the main square, 900 m of the
port and in a short walking distance to rocky beach & to free parking area.
The
building is luxuriously and traditionally built and consists of 5
spacious studios, accommodating two persons each.
Our accommodation
at
"VAPORIA
apartments ", offers you much more space than a traditional hotel
room.
Our delightful
studios are nicely decorated, offering a relaxing and cozy atmosphere. The
studios are able to accommodate 2 people.All
studios offer: sound insulation, marble coated private bathroom, independent
air-conditioning,

two balconies & water boiler.

“VAPORIA
apartments
” is a charming new building situated in the famous “vaporia”
exclusive neighbourhood, that offers an ideal combination of the traditional
Cycladic architecture with the modern comforts and facilities. The location
provides sublime views of Mykonos, Tinos and the Aegean. Tucked away on a quiet
street, it is located minutes away from all major attractions, restaurants and
boutiques. A great choice for relaxing holidays in Ermoupolis, “VAPORIA
apartments
” provides its clients with their privacy and peace. We welcome
guests all year round. Choosing VAPORIA as a
place for your holidays, gives you the opportunity to discover the traditional
and historical town of Ermoupolis.
Area information:
The Hotel is located 1400 meters from the harbour and just 800 meters out of the town centre.
It takes only 10-15 minutes to walk to the centre of Ermoupolis town
or 2 minutes if you take the city
bus (it is free of charge!).

How to
come to “VAPORIA”:
From the Port:
- You can come by
TAXI. It costs about 4-5 euros. You can find a TAXI at the harbour, where the
boats arrive, or at the main street of the harbour or at the TAXI station
(it is 100m from the dock). Tell to the TAXI driver to drive you to
VAPORIA apartments , at “Politis corner”.

You can come by city
bus “Athletic Centre - Doxa”. It is free. The bus service is every 30
minutes, from 7:30 am to 9:30 pm, except Sundays. You can take the bus from
the bus stop at the harbour, opposite to “Goodies” restaurant and you will
leave the bus at “Vourlis” bus stop (it is one stop before the terminal).City
bus stop is 100 meters from the hotel, providing quick and easy access to
the harbour, city centre, casino, tennis courts,

Hermoupolis
is the main town of Syros and also the administrative capital of the
whole Cyclades and probably one of the most interesting towns in Greece. A period
of great wealth and elegance in the 17th & 18th centuries has bequeathed Hermoupolis
with neo-classical style buildings on the grandest of scales. The central square
with the massive town hall surrounded by cafes is a good starting point as you
stroll from the church to museum to market to waterfront and beyond, as each
turning reveals something new.
The two
hills of Ano Syros with its medieval town and Vrondado topped by the church of
Anastasis climb high above the shoreline of Hermoupolis and complete the tableau
of what is a Greek Island holiday with a difference. In Hermoupolis
you will see a lot of beautiful monuments and buildings, like the Town Hall on
the famous Miaoulis Square.
